Friends...The Friends of St. Patrick are a group of chapters across North America that were founded to support and continue the work of the St. Patrick centre, as well as to learn about Northern Ireland and St. Patrick and then educate others. Chapters are active in Arizona, Albany - New York, Minnesota, Milwaukee-Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh - Pennsylvania, Toronto - Canada and Tampa - Florida. Each year chapters go through a selection process to choose Young Ambassadors who will represent that region for the year at Irish festivals and events. Each Summer the selected Young Ambassadors travel to Northern Ireland to learn more about the country as well as learn about the Centre, they bring this knowledge back to their homes to further educate people. They also help to organize and participate in events in their communities to bring the spirit of St. Patrick into the lives of the less fortunate.
