Dr. Tim Comes to Visit

Dr. Tim the Director of the St. Patrick's Centre in Downpatrick and Father McManus a board member came to the U.S. for a visit; they stopped by to see Andres from the Milwaukee chapter before coming here to Arizona for a brief visit before heading to Milwaukee Irish Fest. During his visit we had a wonderful dinner out before a great meeting at the Irish Cultural Centre in Phoenix, Dr. Tim talked about the St. Patrick Centre and exciting things to come with the Friends of St. Patrick. #puttingstpatrickbackinhisday

Him and Father McManus also joined myself, Laddie our chapter President and 2016 Young Ambassador, Kelsey our former President and 2013 Young Ambassador and Thomas our 2018 Young Ambassador at Feed My Starving Children in Mesa to volunteer and connect with their organization to build a future relationship for potential partnership. I've volunteered with Feed My Starving Children off and on since Elementary age, earlier this year I began organizing a regular volunteer day with them for a Arts organization that I am involved in as an opportunity for members to come together and give back in a hands on way. Feed My Starving Children is entirely donation funded and focuses on using these meals to help empower struggling communities in 99 countries around the world to get them back on their feet, volunteering and working with organizations like this is something that I am very passionate about. The Spirit of St. Patrick is something I am very excited to bring forward as a more integral part of the Friends of St. Patrick and I am looking forward to helping to highlight and promote something I am personally passionate about in this amazing program.
